I’m writing to you about a shortcut. And a mop. Yes. A mop. And it’s a shortcut that’s going to save you time AND money Who doesn’t like to save on those things?. Since beginning the transition to becoming waste free it seemed like the best thing to do. I did it. I bought a waste free mop:
It’s nothing fancy. A microfibre mop that has a washable and reusable head. That’s my shortcut. Because I don’t have to lug a bucket of water around with me when I clean my floors. I lug this around instead:
I’m not on the chem-free wagon yet, but I’ll get there. Baby steps for now. It was a decent price at 15.99 which is a lot more affordable for our family than a Swiffer. And that’s after I purchased the spray bottle and Mr. Clean. Especially relevant to to saving time and money is the washable microfibre mop head. I don’t have to add another item to my list. I can just throw the head in my machine and be done with it.
It did a fantastic job cleaning my grungy floors. My floors are sticky. Every. Single. Day. And I don’t like to bust out my mop and bucket every single day. This is the perfect compromise! And I can spot clean. I and done with “mopping day”. Because I loathe that day. This mop is now a symbol of freedom.
I know these things have been around for forever. And everyone has a Swiffer. I know. But because I’m a n00b I’m a little late to this party. I just want to share my love for the Bona microfiber mop. It felt good to add another item on my waste free list. As a result of this mop, I’m saving time AND money. I don’t know about you, but those are both something I could use a little bit more of.
